Episode 56 - Justin Schofield (1 Year Anniversary Show)
Monday Jul 12, 2021
Monday Jul 12, 2021
With this being the one year anniversary show, its only fitting that we bring back our first ever guest, East Hants Mastodons ace, and current 40 Man Team Canada Member, Justin Schofield.
This was a fun one for us as we got to talk about the last year for Outside The Chute, stories we forgot to chat about with Schof in that first ever episode, and trust me, there are some funny ones, and we also had special guest appearances from past OTC guests, Brady Woods and Steve Mullaley.
Outside The Chute would like to throw out some thank you’s right now. First to Hopey for being my witty, always swearing, co-host every 2nd week. Without you I’m not sure I would have had the courage to do this on my own initially. Your positive attitude towards the podcast and more importantly our game of Fastpitch is something that gets me fired up to continue promoting our great game, so thanks pal.
Next, I need to thank Juno Award winner, Classified for allowing us to use his amazing collection of music for the podcast. Local supporting local and Class is huge on supporting local. Thanks my man, definitely appreciate it. Actually, Class just got back out on the road this past weekend, performing at the Calgary Stampede which I know he’s been eagerly waiting for. I highly recommend anyone if they have the chance to see Classified perform live in their hometown down the road, DO SO!! You will not regret it!
Of course I need to thank all of our past and upcoming guests. Without you, plain and simple, there is no Outside The Chute. The fact that I get the chance to talk to greats in this game, on a weekly basis, is absolutely surreal to me and for you to come on Outside The Chute and talk the game with myself and Hopey is friggin awesome. So thank you!
Finally I would like to thank all the listeners to the podcast and follower’s on all our social media accounts. When Outside The Chute started I figured we would have maybe a few hundred downloads. With this one year anniversary episode we will hit 30,000 downloads this week. That blows me away!
So again, thank you for all your continued support. Let’s keep promoting this amazing game!
