Outside The Chute sits down and talks to Lantz, Nova Scotia native, co-host of Outside The Chute and Head Coach of the 2017 Canadian Senior Men's National Champion, East Hants Mastodons.
Chris will tell us about his early days of playing days with the original East Hants Mastodons before moving on to play close to ten season with the Brookfield Elks. We'll relive some big games that the Elks had against the Halifax Keiths and the Kitchener River Shark Twins back in the day, as well as an in depth talk about a freak accident during a game that left him blind in one eye.
What would be a major set back for most, Chris turned it into a coaching opportunity that awarded him with a silver medal at the 2011 Midget Nationals coaching his son Jake in Fredericton, New Brunswick and capped off with a Canadian Senior Men's National title in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 2017.
I hope everyone enjoys this interview as Chris's passion for the game of fastpitch is second to none.
